Exploring St. Elmo, Colorado’s Abandoned Mining Town

St. Elmo is one of Colorado’s Ghost Mining Towns. The town is very well preserved and it feels incredibly quiet as you wander through it. It is approximately 16 miles off the highway and about 5 miles from the nearest small community. There is a school, shops, a post office and homes, all now empty.
