Mesa Verde’s Preserved Ancestral Puebloan Cliff Dwellings

The Cave Dwellings in Mesa Verde National Park are the reason that the park has its distinction. National Park status was assigned to protect the extensive, well-preserved Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings and archaeological sites. These photos are a few of the ones that can be seen by the public without a tour.
