Temple of Horus
The Temple of Horus (or the Temple of Edfu) is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. It was protected as it was buried under 12 metres of sand from the Sahara Desert for centuries. The temple still has its roof (in most parts) and the rooms and chambers are incredibly well preserved. The Temple is enormous and is a maze of corridors leading to rooms and outdoor spaces. It is amazing to walk around.
