The Old Cataract Hotel

I am having a real Agatha Christie themed day in Aswan today 🕵️‍♀️ A visit to Abu Simbel Temple, a key location in Death on the Nile, followed by a visit to the Old Cataract Hotel. Agatha Christie stayed here for approximately one year and they have dedicated the Suite to her. I was lucky enough to be able to join the free tour that is sometimes available at 5pm. It can only run if no-one is checked in to the suite. I just asked at Reception and they were kind enough to let me in and look around before going on the tour.
