Wildlife and Mountain Views on the Horseshoe Park Hike

Today’s hike started with a cold wind and a snowy landscape following yesterday’s snowfall. It soon disappeared though and a lovely warm day emerged. The snow disappeared before our eyes! The Horseshoe Park area is a very peaceful walk with lovely landscape and an abundance of wildlife 🦌 We saw Ground Squirrels, Chipmunks, Elk and a Cooper’s Hawk. The starting elevation is 8,524ft but it was a gentle 8 mile hike from there. #Colorado #visitusa #nationalparks #rockymountainnationalpark #wildlife #viewsfordays #hiking #hikingadventures
